Bday Soiree

This past Friday was my 28th birthday. I didn't celebrate my birthday for the past year or so, so I decided that it would be fun to have some friends over.

I had four birthday cakes this year!! My friends and I shared the two

pictured here and I had another lovely cake baked by my mom on the

Sunday .. then another one with my friends at work yesterday! I have

eaten enough cake for the year now. They were all so yummy!

I was completely surprised that some of my friends gave me gifts at the soiree.

I love them! 

After some drinks we ended the evening with a game of charades.

Thanks to everyone that made my birthday special. I truly appreciate all of you and 

feel blessed to have such wonderful people in my life. Here's to another year on this earth lol!

This Friday is my 28th birthday. This year I actually remembered to stop by Sephora for my free bday present (thanks for the reminder Izzy). I have been wanting to try the Sugar lip balms but have not wanted to spend the money so yippee! I also treated myself to bareMinerals Powder Foundation. My friend Anne recommended it for it's buildable coverage and smooth finish, which I am loving. A plus it that it has SPF in it. Try it!
