Feelng all xmassy!

Lately I've been feeling all xmassy! I love xmas and this year I've wasted no time getting into the spirit and prepping the house since we'll be away most of December. We purchased a smaller tree last weekend, put our wreath on our door, decorated with some wooden ornaments and I also bought some cabin socks just cause it's cold outside.

Happy almost Wednesday :)

The yummy zucchini and mushroom pizza we made on Good Friday

We started that day off by making some banana cinnamon pancakes. Delicious!

Onion dyed easter eggs

Finally bought the foundation and make up sponge I've had on
my list for say 4 months now

Spotted some deer when out for a drive with the fam

Finally finished making our wine cork place card holders!

Happy Weekend :)

Holiday Spirit

Top right: enjoying a REAL apple fritter at the Christmas Market!

Toronto Christmas Market

Christmas is my favourite holiday by far and this year I'm really feeling the Christmas spirit! Christmas has been stressful for me the past few years, simply because I was a student and would spend all my time up to Christmas basically writing essays and studying for exams. This year has been completely different. I decorated my place a couple weeks ago and have had the time to enjoy it. I've done all my shopping and enjoyed wrapping gifts. I am now looking forward to doing some xmas baking this Friday and Saturday! If you celebrate Christmas and like the holiday season I hope you are also feeling the holiday spirit!

Cranberry and Nuts Baked Brie

I recently made this cranberry and nuts baked brie. I was grocery shopping, saw the brie and just decided I was going to make this on a whim! I realize it's often thought of as more of a holiday appetizer but who cares. I semi followed this recipe. It was really easy to make and our house smelled like heaven. I used walnut and pecans and ate it with some whole grain bread. It was delicious!
